BikeRadar, one of the UK’s leading cycling websites, was in need of a refresh. It was a fixed width website with a standalone mobile version. I was commissioned to develop the whole site and shift it to a responsive platform while improving the UX, UI and branding with a new logo.
I worked with the editorial, publishing and advertising teams to understand their business needs. The whole site was wire framed and user testing for some aspects of the UX was undertaken.
The advertising requirements for the UK and US models varied so we had to develop the structure to accommodate this.
The new branding and look and feel of the new site was well received and mobile traffic increased on launch.
