Built for publishers by publishers, FutureFolio is a flexible digital publishing tool that enables publishers to reproduce or enhance existing print content digitally so that it can be optimised for tablet and smartphone consumption quickly, easily and with the minimum of stress.
I managed the development of the UX and UI for the customer-facing storefront. This is the interface a consumer uses when purchasing an app so is critical to the buying decision. In 2012, a FutureFolio app was downloaded every 2.7 seconds, with someone making an in-app purchase every 32 seconds. I have also worked on several apps.
Some of the patterns that I identified in the UK’s first iPad magazine (T3 iPad Edition) are still in use today.
